London, UK – 13 April 2026, Vitaccess, a leader in generating science-driven real-world evidence, today announced the appointment of Matt Reaney as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), expanding the company’s executive team.
Matt brings over two decades of experience in patient-centered science and clinical outcome assessment (COA). He most recently led Global Science & Analytics for Patient Centered Solutions at IQVIA, where he shaped scientific strategy for interpreting patient experience data across clinical research. Prior to this, Matt served as Head of Clinical Outcomes Generation at Sanofi, and his earlier leadership roles at Eli Lilly, ERT, and Oxford Outcomes built deep expertise in real-world evidence across various therapeutic areas.
Alongside his industry experience, Matt serves on the Scientific Advisory Council for Breakthrough T1D UK, a leading diabetes research and advocacy charity. He is an Expert in Residence at the University of Oxford, and a tenured guest lecturer at Royal Holloway University of London . He brings a wealth of experience as a Chartered and Practitioner Health Psychologist and Chartered Scientist, and plays a key role in advancing patient-centered science through his numerous fellowship roles (Royal Society of Medicine, Royal Society of Public Health, British Psychological Society) and as co-chair of the Drug Information Association Study Endpoints Community.
