Anna Richards, MA 

Head of Commercial

Anna is Head of Commercial at Vitaccess.
She builds and maintains relationships with existing and new clients. Her friendly face is often the first you will see at Vitaccess, as she works closely with you to understand your goals and find the best solutions. 
Prior to this role, Anna was Localization Lead at Vitaccess for several years. She worked across all operational aspects of multi-language digital real-world evidence studies to ensure that the patient voice was captured across the globe.
Anna has worked in translation and localization since 2013, both as a project manager and as a legal and medical translator. She is a trained cognitive debriefing consultant for linguistic validation of electronic patient-reported outcomes, as well as having significant expertise in concept elaboration, translatability assessments, and multi-country user testing for outcomes research projects.
She is an active member of the International Society for Quality of Life Research, and is currently leading a working group with other industry partners on “UX/UI best practice recommendations for global paper-based clinical outcome assessment migration across digital platforms”.
Anna has contributed to many publications in quality-of-life journals, with a strong focus on multilingual eCOA application and cultural adaptation for RWE studies.
She holds a law degree with French from Toulouse and Bangor Universities, and an MA in Translation from Cardiff University. She is bilingual in English and French.
Anna is an avid traveler, foodie, and language enthusiast. When not in her homeland of Wales, she’ll be on an adventure with her husband and Romanian rescue dog, Lila.
