Akosua Ofori, MPH 

Associate Consultant

Akosua is an Associate Consultant at Vitaccess.
She is a key contributor to Vitaccess’ health economics and outcomes research and market access projects. Akosua’s role involves project management, conducting qualitative and quantitative research and analysis, ethics submissions, content management, and publications development.
She has helped develop evidence-generation strategies for clients, including gap analyses for health technology assessment submissions and the reimbursement of digital health technologies. Akosua currently project manages a range of our longitudinal and cross-sectional real-world evidence studies. She also works closely with our analytics team to conduct qualitative analyses to support HTA submissions for clients.
She has presented her work at national and international conferences, with one poster being shortlisted for an outstanding poster award and another scoring in the top 10% of research abstracts submitted.
Akosua has a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Durham University, and a Master’s in Public Health from Imperial College London. During her year-long placement in industry, she gained experience working with medicines and medical device products as a Research and Development Assistant at a consumer goods company. For her master’s thesis, she partnered with a technology start-up to conduct epidemiological research using data from their new digital health app. Throughout her career, Akosua has developed familiarity with a range of therapy areas, including oncology, cardiovascular disease, and infectious diseases.
Akosua is based in London and is a keen traveler and fan of the outdoors.
