
Daniel Aggio, PhD
Daniel is a Senior Consultant at Vitaccess.
His role involves project management of real-world and patient-centered research projects, providing oversight of our qualitative and quantitative research studies.
Prior to joining Vitaccess, Daniel worked at a research consultancy on a range of projects including utility studies, patient preference studies, and bespoke clinician surveys. He is experienced in conducting interviews with patients, caregivers, and clinicians, survey development, study protocol and material development, ethics submissions, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, literature reviews, and publication development. Daniel has worked across a broad range of therapeutic areas, including alopecia areata, X-linked myotubular myopathy, atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome, hepatocellular carcinoma, glycogen storage disease, and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis.
Daniel holds a PhD in Epidemiology from University College London, funded by the British Heart Foundation, and an MSc and BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Essex. He has co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications and has presented work at International Conferences. He also holds a Professional Certificate in Project Management.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoys playing golf, the occasional park run, and spending time with friends and family.
