Alasdair is Associate Director of Analytics at Vitaccess.
His role involves providing statistical oversight to our studies, from offering input into proposals and protocols, to writing statistical analysis plans and executing analyses.
Prior to joining the Vitaccess team, Alasdair worked in all phases of clinical research, from first-in-human Phase I studies with a focus on psychedelics, to global Phase III studies in a range of clinical areas. He has also worked on surgical trials in low income countries, conducting research on both improvements in and cost of care. During the pandemic, Alasdair worked on real-world studies to help monitor the spread and severity of COVID-19.
Alasdair gained a BSc (Hons) from Nottingham Trent University in Mathematics and Computer Science, and a MSc in Medical Statistics from UCL, in which his thesis was partnered with AstraZeneca in PK/PD modelling.
Outside of work, Alasdair spends his time training for triathlons and seeing live music.
