Giles is Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research at Vitaccess.
He is a health economist and market access specialist, with over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare and life science industries.
Giles is an accomplished project leader, with the breadth of experience, technical knowledge, and interpersonal skills to deliver projects on time and to high quality standards, while adapting to evolving client priorities and needs. He also brings a broad business understanding, with extensive commercial knowledge and experience from the life sciences industry.
At Vitaccess, Giles is involved in the design and delivery of our digital real-world evidence studies and standalone consulting projects in HEOR and market access. He applies his technical skills and comprehensive understanding of health technology assessment and market access to identify opportunities and challenges for value demonstration, and generate practical solutions from research that meet key stakeholder requirements.
Giles brings specific experience in design and delivery of HEOR studies, HTA methods, market access strategy development, payer research, statistical analysis, and health economic modeling. He has worked across a broad range of therapy areas, including oncology, neurology, immunology, gastroenterology, and cardiovascular disease.
Giles is also a member of a National Institute of Health and Care Excellence technology appraisal committee, and brings this awareness of pricing and reimbursement decision-making, payer priorities, and evidence preferences to his work at Vitaccess.
He has a BSc in Economics and an MSc in Health Economics and Policy from the London School of Economics.
When not working, Giles enjoys spending time with his family, photography, cycling, and other adventures in the great outdoors. Giles also has a lifelong ambition to catalog the world’s best cakes.
