Tech Nation announces latest upscale programme cohort – 33 Tech Scaleups to watch in 2021
Vitaccess has been selected to join the prestigious Tech Nation Upscale 6.0 program. This is testament to the significant progress the company has made since being founded in Oxford in 2017.
Vitaccess will join 32 other businesses described by Tech Nation as “the UK’s best-performing tech companies” on a six-month program aimed at supercharging growth. The program offers the chance to work with an exciting group of leaders and to tackle the new challenges that founders are facing around remote working, fundraising and culture.

Upscale 6.0 is particularly timely: the pandemic has accelerated the adoption of digital health and is an excellent environment for rapid scaling.”
Vitaccess creates powerful, digital real-world evidence studies to quantify patients’ experience of illness and treatments. Smartphone apps and real-time data analytics dashboards together provide biopharmaceutical clients with evidence of how drugs and treatments affect patients’ quality of life every day, outside of the clinical setting.
Vitaccess has already designed and implemented patient-centric digital studies globally (in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan) for thousands of patients in therapeutic areas including rare/orphan diseases, oncology and chronic diseases.

This reflects how healthtech companies have come to the fore of UK tech, especially in the wake of the pandemic. The UK is now third in the world for healthtech investment after the US and China.
